As Breast Cancer Awareness Month winds down, Nybll brought clients a few pink dishes to commemorate all who have been affected by this disease.
OUR WHY:
In 2008 our founding chef, Kristen Thibeault was diagnosed with a life threatening breast cancer diagnosis. It was at that point she made the decision to only focus on the elements of life that she could control. Chef adopted a vegan diet; going back to the basics with whole fruits, vegetables and plant protein… and it worked. She credits her plant-focused diet for her speedy recovery from treatment, and dubs her farm-to-fork cuisine, “stealth health.”
To Support Pink, our clients enjoyed a few pink dishes; Dragonfruit Pasta + Cucumber Mango Salad, Beet Hummus and Pink Hibiscus + Strawberry Tiramisu.
Remember- early detection is everything. The American Cancer Society notes when breast cancer is detected early, and is in the localized stage, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%.
